I just upgraded my Shot license from 2012.0 to 2012.3 and noticed my plugin from SolidWorks didn't work any more. I reinstalled the current plug-in I had downloaded in November of 2011 and restarted SW and now when I go to export my model, I get a pinwheel for a couple seconds and then nothing. SW still functions fine, as does Shot but the model never imports. Is there a new plug-in that I'm missing or is it not support yet?

Thanks for the help

I upgraded to PRO 2012.3 from PRO 2012.2 and, because of the IGS/STEP problems, I tried importing SW files direct. I don't have the plug-in but I could drag-and-drop the SLDASM into the view port. Have you tried this? I have always used STEP previously because it gives numerous options for material placement but I was pleasantly surprised with the options the SW files gave me. Unfortunately some of the parts came in quite faceted and I couldn't alter the quality. I am pretty sure someone else has mentioned this in another thread. I have dropped back on to PRO 2012.2 until the translation problems are resolved.

2012.3 natively supports import of SW 2012 files. We are awaiting the Plugin to support SW 2012 in the near future.
