I thought by slowing the speed (Turtle) in Animation would slow down my movie but if does not. I assume increasing fps smooths the animation but does not slow the speed.

So.... How do I slow my rendered .mpg down?

You mean slowing the object action in your video? Just increases the time of the video ... no?
Fps as you know is "frame per second", but 10 or 100 frames in one second take.. one second! So you have to stretch your timeline ;)

Thanks Aselert. Makes sense and I have increased the time. After 33 hours of render on the first model that makes me dizzy I wanted to be sure before I run the second. I am assuming my rendering time will be longer.

You're welcome ;) After 33h, I understand!

In fact if you put 20s instead of 10s, by example, your object will have the same movement, with a position A to position B. But not in the same time: it will do it 2 times slower, logical.

And about the render time, on the other side, it follows directly from the number of images (renderings) you want to do.
By example, 10s at 100fps equal 100s at 10fps, so 1000 renders ;)
