It´s a bug.When using region option in BS Zoom,you have random rendertimes.Only when render the whole image,the
render time is what you want.BS please solve,region option useless at the moment.
When starting a new render with 2 hours, background renderer or queue,the time jumps directly to 70% 0s remaining.The "real" time is about 20minutes.

Hi,like the light.The shadow makes it really realistic.Do you use HDR or physical light? Perhaps you can give the back of the chair slightly more contrast to free it from background.
When using specular layer the rendered image differs complete from viewport.
Tried different materials, different adjustments.
If i can see the spec layer in the viewport,save, close and restart...
Hi, you can paint the holes back with a masking Layer in Photoshop.Render as Tif +Alpha,open in PS,Layer menu - layer from transparency.Then paint with black brush.
