    Animation movie with transparent background

Is this possible? I'm talking about an "animated-alpha channel tiff" sort of thing.

This should happen by default if you uncheck "create movie", then check the .tiff's its outputs in the output folder.

    Dave, thanks for the reply.

Soo let me get this straight... the movie created by default may not have transparent background BUT, if I create a movie using all the TIF frames then I'll get the transparent background?

yes, that is correct. The movie compiler we use doesn't account for Alpha (which is not common to have in finished movies). If you compile the frames in after effects or other tools that can support outputting a movie over a transparent background, then you'll be fine.
