    Transparent background

    Hello,

Can you tell me how to render an object and get an image on a transparent background?

    Thanks.

Just check "Include Alpha" check box in the render options. NOTE this only works when rendering a .png or .tif.

    Thanks JasonS,

That works, only problem I have is I get transparent holes in the product itself, it looks like its the black that comes out as transperant. any idea how to avoid this?

Hi, you can paint the holes back with a masking Layer in Photoshop.Render as Tif +Alpha, open in PS,Layer menu - layer from transparency. Then paint with black brush.
