    Question AutoCAD 3D File Import

I was wondering if there were any plans of a direct import of the 3d dwg files...since autocad is trying to push the 3D ease of use? I remember using space claim to open up a 3d dwg model and render with hypershot...

    Let me know....

    Thanks,

    patmang.

All our 2012 products support DXF and DWG import directly.

Ahhh, thanks! i missed seeing the link under the screenshot link. Thanks. Give us some time to investigate. Import related issues arn't the quickest to solve because we use a third party system for most of our importers and often times, testing is very time consuming.

    Talk soon,

that sounds like you'll want to uninstall shot, then remove most every trace of temp files, Then install.
I had some crazy business like that on a couple machines that went through a few versions of Shot. Brian has some helpful info on that. He should be able to help you completely remove it fairly easy now that he's already typed up the instructions.
